Gas Safety Week 2025

Gas Safety Week Presentation1

We’re proud to support Gas Safety Week 2025, running from 8th – 14th September, and to stand with thousands of organisations across the UK in raising awareness about the importance of gas safety in our homes and communities.

Coordinated by the Gas Safe Register – the official list of qualified gas engineers legally permitted to work on gas appliances – this annual campaign reminds us that looking after our gas appliances is essential for protecting our homes, our families, and our friends.

Why Gas Safety Matters

Gas appliances are a vital part of many homes — from boilers to cookers and fires. Like anything we rely on, they need a little care and attention now and then to keep working safely and efficiently.

When gas appliances aren’t properly fitted, serviced, or maintained, they can sometimes develop issues such as minor gas leaks, reduced efficiency, or a buildup of carbon monoxide - which you can't see, smell, or taste.

That’s why it’s so important to have appliances checked regularly by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. Regular servicing helps spot any problems early - giving you peace of mind and helping to keep your home safe and warm.
