Players at Downpatrick Bowling Club were bowled over by Phoenix Energy this week as the company announced its partnership with the club and provided players with a new team kit ahead of the upcoming season.
Downpatrick Bowling Club consists of forty players who are all members of the Northern Ireland Private Green League (NIPGL). The team has made great strides in climbing up the ranks, with the club having progressed three leagues in the last few years.
Club President, Jeremy Duffin, said, “With Phoenix Energy working to bring natural gas to Downpatrick, we are delighted to announce a partnership with the company and welcome them as a new sponsor.”
“The club has long been in need of a new kit and it’s great to finally unveil the shirts which celebrate our relationship with Phoenix Energy. The support has given the players a real boost ahead of the upcoming season and we look forward to showing off our new-look shirts and hopefully progressing even further up the league tables this season with some great wins.”
