Phoenix Energy is delighted to announce the launch of its new £600 installation cashback offer, designed to support local customers making the switch from oil to gas. The initiative, the ‘Boiler Replacement Allowance’ was unveiled yesterday morning at a Northern Ireland Network Gas Association breakfast event hosted at La Mon Hotel, Belfast, attended by over 120 local gas installers. The event also welcomed representatives from leading boiler manufacturers, including Alpha, Baxi, Glow-worm, Ideal, Vaillant and Worcester Bosch.
The £600 Boiler Replacement Allowance is available to households in the Phoenix Energy licensed area (Greater Belfast, Larne, Whitehead, Carrickfergus, and East Down), whose gross annual income is less than £90,000. The offer aims to make the transition from oil or other forms of home heating to natural gas (which can be up to 50% less carbon intensive), more affordable, providing practical support to those keen to upgrade to a cleaner and more efficient energy source.
Phoenix Energy is delivering this offer in partnership with local charity, Action Renewables, underscoring a shared commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. The offer will run until 30th June 2026, giving customers ample opportunity to benefit from its support. Action renewables will be undertaking the administrative processing, including eligibility checks.
