The Energy for Children Charitable Trust is continuing to break new ground and reach deeper into the heart of local communities throughout Greater Belfast and beyond in order to really make a difference to disadvantaged children’s lives.
The Trust focuses on those needy causes that are slipping through the net of the more established Charity network, and is founded on the principle that ‘all monies raised go directly to local children and young people’. Behind the scenes Phoenix provides all administrative support.
Although the Trust was founded initially by the natural gas industry, it is now supported by a variety of different sectors and organisations locally as it continues to grow.
Efforts to raise money are ongoing and the Trust would like to appeal for help from anyone who feels they are in a position to do something positive to help assist its progress in terms of offering support to disadvantaged children.
To date the Energy for Children Charitable Trust has helped over 8000 local disadvantaged children and every month continues to help more and more.
If you know of an individual or group who could benefit from funding please contact Charity Liaison Officer Rebecca Dalzell at Rebecca.dalzell@energyforchildren-ni.org or on 02890 55 55 45.
