Essential Maintenance

Works have now been completed, however due to essential cabling works being carried out by NIE, road closures and diversions remain in place.

Phoenix Energy is currently carrying out essential gas maintenance in the Milltown Road area. Roads in this area have been closed and diversions have been put in place to help manage the flow of traffic during the works.

Diversions are in place as follows:

Traffic from Lisburn via Hospital Road cannot turn left onto Milltown Road and should continue along Hospital Road, following the diversion via Purdysburn Road.
Drivers coming from Purdysburn Road can turn right onto Milltown Road, but will not be able to continue along Hospital Road toward Lisburn.
Traffic from the A55 carriageway cannot turn left onto Milltown Road.

Road closures are expected to continue into the week commencing 27th October and we’ll share updates as soon as more information becomes available. See the maps below for details of the diversion routes.
