Governor Maintenance Trainee
In this role, you will undertake training achieved through a range of day to day mentored and supervised gas work and periodic external instruction and assessment necessary to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of gas distribution equipment and assets, leading to the attainment of a relevant vocational qualification or similar and future progression to a Governor Maintenance Craftsperson / Technician role.
You will develop the technical, safety and behavioral competences and skills to work effectively as part of a team responsible for the maintenance, operation and emergency repair of pressure control equipment, safety devices, customer metering and telemetry systems installed as part of the Phoenix distribution network operating at pressures up to 7bar.

Salary Range: £27,500 - £32,700 per annum
Experience: Minimum 1 years’ hands on experience of plant or mechanical maintenance OR Minimum 2 years working in an engineering environment and working in accordance with safe systems of work, procedures and processes.
