The Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Awards 2020 took place on Thursday 6 February 2020 at the Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
Recognising the significant contribution of apprentices to the workplace and the partnerships formed between employers and training providers that enable the continued growth of the apprenticeship scheme, the awards are an important celebration of the impact of the apprentice scheme across Northern Ireland.
Phoenix Energy Services were delighted to be a shortlisted finalist for the SME Innovation Award, in partnership with South Eastern Education College.
Collecting the certificate, Duncan Whelan, Operations Manager at Phoenix Energy Services, said: “Phoenix Energy Services first started an apprentice scheme in 2002 and we’re delighted that three quarters of the team that we have now have come through the programme. We have made a significant investment in the apprenticeship scheme because we see real value in growing future talent for the natural gas industry.”
